Q: I did not receive an e-mail after my registration, what to do?
A: Check your spam inbox, you will probably find it there. Otherwise send us an e-mail!
Q: Is joining the introduction mandatory?
A: During the InterSib you will get to know all your classmates and it will be an event not to forget. Most students reflect back on the InterSib as the moment where they build friendships for life! Since most students will join, it will not be very favourable to miss out, though when you decide not to join the InterSib it has no consequences for the academic year as it is a stand-alone event.
Q: Where will we sleep during the InterSib?
A: The location of InterSib remains a secret until your departure, this makes the week even more excited! On location you will sleep in a large tent with your fellow students, there are showers available. At night there will be security surveillance around the sleeping accommodation.
Q: When will InterSib 2017 take place?
A: The InterSib will take place 29th till 31st August 2017.
Q: How can I pay for the InterSib
A: Under "join us" you will find a page called "complete registration" where it is explained in clear steps how to pay for you introduction and make sure you have completed the registration completely.
Q: What do we eat and what is included?
A: During the InterSib we will take good care of you! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided and are complementary. You will have to pay for your own drinks during the InterSib but of course we keep in mind we are all students not wanting to spend too much money 😉
Q: How do I move my bicycle to Breda?
A: You can take your bike with you on the train to Breda, this requires an additional train ticket. This ticket you can buy at the ticket service desk on the station or via the automates selling tickets. Travel with your bike by train
Q: I have a room in Breda, is it possible to sleep there?
A: No, during the InterSib you are not allowed to sleep at another accommodation or to leave the festive location at any time. NHTV is responsible for your wellbeing and will take good care of you!
Q: I am allergic or have a special diet, will this be taken into account?
A: Of course! When you are going to register there is a special section where you can fill out any special diets, allergies or medical concerns. We will do our best to provide appropriate meals that will suit everyone. We will make sure you are able to enjoy a nice meal with your classmates.
Q: What if I have a disability?
A: Please contact us via the contact page or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can make this event as pleasant as possible for you.
Q: Which studies can participate in the InterSib?
A: The InterSib is ONLY for Hotel Management and Facility Management students.
Q: What are the alcohol and drugs policies during the InterSib?
A: In the Netherlands it is forbidden by the law to drink alcohol under the age of 18, this rule also accounts during the introduction. You are allowed to smoke cigarettes in the outside areas. Drugs are strictly forbidden!
Q: Is there an ATM available during the InterSib?
A: No, there is no ATM available. Yet you can buy consumption coins with cash and pin (by card).
Q: What do I need to bring to InterSib?
A: Please find this information on the page of the packing list.
Q: Where can I find my student number?
A: You will receive your student number from the NHTV in a letter via the mail. This letter will also contain your password. If you do not know your student number yet please call NHTV Student Office or send them your question via the link.
Q: Can I also participate parts of the program?
A: No. You can only participate the entire three day program.
